Xai’xais language

Language is an important piece of cultural identity. Our language team are committed to learning alongside our students, and encouraging our students to take risks and use their traditional language in different settings. It is important for our students to have opportunities outside of the classroom to communicate using Xai’xais. Families can help with this by encouraging your students to use Xai’xais in the home. Ask them to teach you what they’ve learned! We strongly encourage making connections with fluent elders in the community, and spending time with them speaking Xai’xais.
