Student Dress Policy

We recognize that decisions about dress reflect individual expression of identity, their well-being and health. Also, we aim to provide students with a learning environment that is safe, equitable, welcoming and inclusive.  

At Kitasoo Community School, we prohibit the wearing of clothing that bears profanity or vulgarity, or promotes drug or alcohol use. Students may be asked to change or cover up offensive clothing. As a measure of safety and respect, we ask that hoods and hats are removed at school. Cooperation is appreciated.
